NMJ GHANA is a 360 Agency and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Cinematographer and Video Editor to join our team.
This position is well suited to an individual who is looking to advance their career in Cinematography and Video Editing and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.
As part of the Creative Department, you will work closely with the Digital Marketing and Creative Manager to shoot and present the company/clients’ stories in a sequence that has maximum effect.

What You Will Do

• Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of a video
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency
• Film videos on set or on location.
• Ensure that equipment for a shoot is present and working.
• Plan the shoot with the creative team and/or client.
• Edit footage in post-production.
• Direct other camera operators so that the needed footage is acquired

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• Proficiency with camera equipment
• Proficiency with most up to date editing software
• Excellent computer literacy
• Fitness and stamina to work long hours
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• A minimum of Diploma in your field
