Chief Operating Officer (Business Process Outsourcing Company)


A reputable BPO company is looking to hire a dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the organization’s ongoing operations. The individual will be the company’s second in command and responsible for the efficiency of the business. The goal of the COO will be to secure the functionality of the business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.

The COO is a key member of the senior management team, reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The right individual will maintain control of diverse business operations, as such he/she must have the requisite experience and be an efficient leader. Having excellent people skills, good business acumen and exemplary work ethic will be a major advantage

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement policies to promote company culture and vision
  • Oversee operations to grow and keep business on track
  • Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures to ensure business profitability
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of Snr. Management personnel (HR & Admin, IT, Marketing, Sales, Accounting & Finance etc.)
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Ensure the integrated systems deliver optimum results
  • Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics as well as proactively developing solutions to identified business issues
  • Write and submit reports to the CEO on all matters of importance
  • Represent and Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.
  • Build and manage relationships with partners/vendors, including relationships with financial institutions to improve speed to market (payments to outsourced personnel) at competitive rates

The dynamic individual must also have the following qualifications

  1. A Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Science or related field.
  2. 5-10 years+ experience in operations as a Snr manager or has managed an SME business as a Chief Operating Officer.
  3. Demonstrable strong business acumen.
  4. Acute understanding of resource allocation.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other operational software.
