A compliance officer must have a thorough knowledge of the company and an awareness of where possible regulatory breaches may occur. It is the compliance officer’s duty to ensure continual monitoring and review of compliance procedures to help identify possible areas where improvements could be made. Our client, a Financial Service institution applications from highly qualified and results-oriented professionals for the following position A good Chief Compliance Officer must have a thorough technical and practical knowledge of the business. This allows a CCO to envision and then supervise compliance solutions. A CCO is responsible for designing the right policies and procedures and tapping into technologies needed for compliance.

Job Functions/ Responsibilities

• The role holder will provide regular advice to Management on compliance laws, rules and standards, and also keep them informed about new developments on compliance in the regulatory environment.
•  Additionally, the role holder will take an active role in fostering an awareness of the Institution’s standards on ethical behavior and business practices/conduct as established in the Business Conduct
• Developing, implementing and managing an organization’s compliance program.
• Coordinating with federal and state regulators.
• Planning, implementing and overseeing risk-related programs.
• Creating and coordinating proper reporting channels for compliance issues

Qualification Requirement & Experience

•  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
•  Relevant professional qualification such as Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) will be an added advantage.
