Job Summary

• The C# Developer will be responsible for building C# applications, including anything from back-end services to their client-end counterparts.
• The candidate’s primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.
• Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.
• The candidate must also be familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment. Ultimately, the role of the C# is to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.

Responsibilities

• Execute a full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automatisation
• Write well-designed, testable code
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Deploy programmes and evaluate user feedback
• Comply with project plans and industry standards 16. Ensure software is updated with latest features

Requirements

• BSc/MS degree in Computer Science. Engineering or a related subject
• Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
• Experience designing interactive applications
• Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
• Familiarity with the NET
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Skill for writing reusable C# libraries
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and other DBMS such as MySQL and Oracle
• Experience with popular web application frameworks
• Familiarity with Windows Presentation Framework
• Knack for writing clean, readable C# code
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Ability to document requirements and specifications
