Developing and pursing new business opportunities, in procurement of goods and services, for the Company in the Petroleum, Mining and Maritime sectors.

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with businesses in the petroleum, mining and maritime sectors, and seeking successful procurement business opportunities for the Company.

Business Development Process / Pipeline

• Develop and maintain client and project target list
• Define clear strategies and schedules for achieving set targets
• Gather and analyze market intelligence for new projects and opportunities.
• Develop strategies to expand the customer base and contribute to the development of the company’s brand.
• Foster and develop positive customer relationships which result in increased and repeat business
• Understand customer needs and assist in the development of project solutions that satisfy those requirements and provide new opportunities for the Company

Job Specific Skills

• Previous experience in sourcing and procuring goods and services for companies in the petroleum, mining and maritime sectors.
• Knowledge of fabrication, maritime, oil and gas industries markets and companies
• Excellent networking skills.

Qualification

• HND or Bachelor’s Degree
