Overview

Micro Watch is a subsidiary company under Lexbert Multimedia. Micro WATCH is a registered company under the Companies Code, 1963 (Act 179). We aim at bridging the communication gap, with reference to information and education between, the Micro Finance/Micro Credit Institutions and their members within the informal business sector.

The Business Development Executive is an important role with short and long-term goals to achieve our aim in Micro WATCH.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identifying new sales leads
2. Pitching products and/or services
3. Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
4. Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
5. Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
6. Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
7. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
8. Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
9. Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
10. Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
11. Developing quotes and proposals
12. Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
13. Looking for Sponsorship for our TV Programs
14. Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
15. Reporting on Achieved Targets
16. Writing business proposals
17. Negotiating with stakeholders

Required Skills and Experience

• 3 or more years’ experience in Business Development, Media or Marketing company
• High-level communication skills
• Stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to negotiate
• Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
• Good with Numbers
• The ability to self-motivate
• Experience working to and exceeding targets

Qualification

• More than 3years experience in the marketing or Business Development field.
• A degree in Marketing or related field
