Job Description

BDT (Pre Tech Skills) Teacher required for a Private Christian Basic (Primary) and Junior High School.

Duties

• To plan the effective teaching and learning of BDT (Pre Tech Skills) for pupils in the Junior High School.
• To teach and provide learning opportunities in BDT (Pre Tech Skills) for pupils in the Junior High School

Remuneration

• Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Required Skills or Experience

• BEd in BDT (Pre Tech Skills) or similar qualification
• Must have completed National Service

Experience Level: Mid Level

• A minimum of (3) three years of Post Qualification experience in a similar setting (ie a Private Christian Primary and JHS School).
• More experienced candidates with previous administrative experience as a Head of Department, are especially welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with the new Standards Based National Curriculum.
• A good written and spoken command of the English Language
• ICT proficiency
• Be able to participate in all aspects of school activities
• Will be required to set a good example in terms of punctuality, attendance, behaviour and dress to enhance the School’s reputation and standing with parents and pupils.
