Position Summary

We are looking for a results-driven asset manager to provide recommendations on asset acquisition and manage a portfolio of assets, increasing their value, and minimizing risks. The Successful Applicant will be tasked with conducting risk analyses, preparing financial budgets for the company, asset management, and investment reports, reviewing policies, and developing strategies to maximize asset growth. The Applicant should be strategically minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ultimately, the applicant should be an outstanding asset manager and should have a strong financial background, excellent organizational skills, and be a formidable negotiator.

Duties and Responsibilities

• responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects
• Ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope.
• To look over the team, manage client expectations, build a project plan, manage the delivery of outcomes, schedule tasks, and delegate assignments.
• Act as a compliance officer
• Negotiating with landlords with regards to rent.
• Preparing the monthly budget for the project.
• Managing field workforce.
• Renewing of company license
• Follow up payment with suppliers
• Monthly payment of Dstv and StarTimes subscriptions
• Acquisition of fire certification, renewal of fire extinguishers
• Procurement
• Asset register
• Head office and outlets repairs and maintenance
• All rent issues and renewals(Rent Agreement and payment)
• Stock inventory reports end of every month
• Confirmation of franchise deposit and receipt
• Franchise deduction reports
• Monitoring of expenses budget
• Vehicle and motorcycles service records
• Ecg issues and meter acquisition (if need be)
• Renewal of vehicle and moto cycle Insurance and many more.

Required Qualifications, skills and competence

• Successful candidate should be fluent in English Language, able to express himself.
• Successful candidate should be able to prepare a proper report
• A minimum of First Degree or Diploma in business, finance, Procurement or related field.
• Previous experience as an analyst or asset manager.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-related software.
• Strategically minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
