Overview

The Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing the performance, maintenance, and utilization of all company supply vans. The role ensures that vehicles are roadworthy, cost-efficient, and used in line with company policies. This includes monitoring fuel consumption, tracking supply routes, coordinating repairs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting drivers to achieve safe and efficient deliveries.

What You Will Do

1. Plan and oversee regular servicing and repairs of vans.
2. Keep vehicles roadworthy and ensure all documents (insurance, roadworthiness,
   DVLA, etc.) are up to date.
3. Track and control fuel usage for all vehicles.
4. Monitor supply routes to ensure timely deliveries and suggest improvements.
5. Supervise drivers and ensure safe driving practices.
6. Keep clear records of all repairs, maintenance, and fuel costs.
7. Work with warehouse and supply managers to plan delivery schedules.
8. Prepare simple weekly and monthly reports on fleet performance.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• Degree in Transport Management, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience managing company vehicles or transport operations.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, route planning, and fuel control.
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Strong organizational and record-keeping ability.
