Gigi Beauty Bar is a modern, non-toxic beauty salon redefining clean beauty in Ghana. With two vibrant locations in Accra, we specialize in BIAB nails, natural skincare, and wellness-focused beauty solutions. We’re looking for a strategic and results-driven Marketer to help us grow our client base, increase foot traffic, and strengthen community engagement through innovative marketing campaigns and activations.
Job Summary:
The Marketer will focus on offline and digital strategies to drive client acquisition, increase bookings, and promote customer loyalty. This includes campaign planning, community engagement, event coordination, partnerships, and tracking marketing effectiveness. The ideal candidate is proactive, organised, and passionate about beauty and wellness.
What You Will Do
1. Client Acquisition & Retention
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns to attract new clients and increase repeat visits.
- Launch and manage initiatives like referral programs, discounts for first-time clients, and loyalty programs.
- Support upselling strategies within the salon to maximise client value.
2. Community Engagement & Events
- Plan and coordinate in-store events, pop-ups, and client appreciation activations.
- Partner with social media team to build relationships with influencers, beauty professionals, and wellness brands for strategic collaborations.
- Represent Gigi Beauty Bar at relevant community and industry events.
3. Partnerships & Promotions
- Develop partnerships with local businesses and lifestyle brands for co-branded promotions.
- Identify sponsorship or promotional opportunities to increase visibility and client reach.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and Founder on seasonal service promotions.
4 Marketing Strategy & Reporting
- Work with the General Manager to set monthly marketing goals and execute plans accordingly.
- Track marketing KPIs including bookings, customer acquisition costs, and campaign ROI.
- Provide regular reports and recommendations based on performance data.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Monthly new client growth
- Client retention and rebooking rates
- Booking increases tied to specific campaigns
- ROI on promotions and events
Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred)
- 2–3 years of experience in marketing, especially within beauty, wellness, or retail sectors
- Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills
- Experience with event marketing, client-facing promotions, and partnership building
- Passion for non-toxic beauty and a client-first approach
