Business Development Executive

Overview

We are a management and technology services firm with a hybrid of skilled professionals. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to support our operations in West Africa (Ghana). The individual being a significant member of our company’s growth strategy will play a key role in driving our business growth by identifying and generating new business opportunities, expanding our client base, and maximizing revenue opportunities primarily in Ghana with a reporting line of duty to Nigeria.


What You Will Do

  1. Identify and Target Prospective Clients: Research and identify potential clients in your region or country of operation.
  2. Studying and getting acquainted with all Microsoft applications solutions as offered by the organisation to enable you to integrate fully into our environment.
  3. Acquire knowledge of new business applications, products, and services as well as updates on existing solutions we offers.
  4. Learn Microsoft product functionalities and pricing of Microsoft solutions for proper liaising with opportunities.
  5. Quickly familiarize yourself with our in-house billing tools and systems to share invoices and other sales documents accordingly.
  6. Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Develop comprehensive sales strategies and plans to penetrate new markets, acquire new clients, and achieve revenue targets in the region.
  7. Build and Maintain Relationships: Build and nurture relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders within target organizations to understand their needs and position our products and services effectively.
  8. Lead Generation and Prospecting: Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, industry conferences, and digital marketing campaigns.
  9. Product Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct engaging and effective presentations, demonstrations, and sales pitches to prospective clients to showcase the value proposition of the Company Limited’s bouquet of Microsoft digital solutions to clients.
  10. Generate documents that are presentable and customer-ready. This ranges from product documentation to proposals, presentations, and contracts.
  11. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product development team, marketing, and customer success teams in Nigeria to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives and customer needs.
  12. Negotiate and Close Deals: Lead negotiations, handle objections, and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  13. Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments (trends in consumption, products, and services), and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage and to ultimately ensure that our offerings remain relevant in our industry.
  14. Sales Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales, marketing, and business development documentation reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to track progress, measure performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  15. Customer Relationship Management: Utilize our in-house Dynamics CRM solution to proactively manage and track customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline opportunities.
    Performing other relevant duties that may be assigned to you in the course of your normal duties.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management roles within the tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics solutions – D365, NAV, CRM, Azure, Office365 products, and services is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Business Intelligence and Project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Results-driven with a passion for exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • We would prefer candidates who stay within the Accra metropolis.
