Mechanical Engineer

Overview

Our client is a firm that offers design and contracting management services for the building industry and consulting services for a wide range of commercial, educational, hospitality, industrial, health care and residential clients.


What You Will Do

  1. Design systems and components that meet needs and requirements
  2. Produce outline designs
  3. Conduct experiments methodically, analyse data and interpret results
  4. Test and evaluate theoretical designs
  5. Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems
  6. Evaluate final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety
  7. Alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions
  8. Estimate budget and scope of project
  9. Solicit observations from operators
  10. Prepare product reports and documentation
  11. Engage in lifelong learning and develop new theories or methods

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

  • Minimum of a Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in the construction field
  • Must have experience in site management
  • Must have working knowledge in Autocad & Microsoft Office Suite
  • Creativity and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
  • Technical writing skills
  • Working experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
  • Hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering (CAM) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAE)

What we can offer you

  • Experience Based Salary: GHC3,500.00-GHC7,000.00
