Overview

We are looking for a passionate Marketing Officer to plan and oversee the organization’s marketing activities and campaigns. You will be the one to ensure that all marketing operations are successful in meeting the goals set by management.

A successful Marketing officer must have great enthusiasm for all things marketing and great knowledge of relevant techniques and principles. The ideal candidate will also be an excellent communicator.

Applicants must reside at West Hills, Weija and its environs.

What You Will Do

1. Contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies
2. Support the marketing team in overseeing the department’s operations
3. Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise product/service awareness
4. Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.)
5. Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
6. Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

1. Proven experience as a marketing officer or similar role
2. Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles
3. Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods
4. Excellent knowledge of MS Office
5. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
7. Creativity and commercial awareness
8. A team player with a customer-oriented approach
9. BSc/BA or HND in marketing, business administration or relevant field
10. One or more years of experience
