Overview

A reputable company in Accra is currently looking for a Front End Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Your responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works

In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. If you also have experience in these popular coding languages such as (JavaScript, CSS, PHP, HTML, Google Flutter, react/ react-native and understand the principle of SEO), we’d like to meet you.

Your goal will be to build efficient programs and systems that serve user needs.

What You Will Do

1. Develop new user-facing features
2.  Build reusable code and libraries for future use
3.  Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
4.  Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability
5.  Ensure that all user input is validated before submitting to the back-end
6.  Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
7. Create, edit or modify templates for a CMS or web development framework

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• Be proficient in coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP.
• React/React-native and Google Flutter
• Understand server-side CSS.
• Be experienced with graphic design applications (e.g., Adobe Illustrator)
• Understand the principles of SEO
• Have excellent skills in problem-solving
• Be proficient in communicating with team members, bosses, and clients
• Have good interpersonal skills
