What You Will Do

1. Drive short and long distances to deliver goods to members.
2. Ensure accurate sorting and delivery of all items before expected delivery date and time.

1. Preparing and printing delivery slips for all scheduled deliveries
2. Immediately notifying operations team right after each package has been delivered or on the admin page setting the status of each item to delivered immediately the package is delivered to the member.
3. Calling members prior to dispatch, 10-15 minutes to arrival and on arrival
4. Ensuring that at the point of delivery, a member’s ID is inspected and the delivery slip is signed by the member.
5. Quickly communicating any delays or cancellations to members as soon as you know of it or anticipate it.
6. Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
7. Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours or after working hours if in company vehicle.
8. Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked safely in areas that permit parking in order to avoid violations or accidents.
9. Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.
10. Keep maintenance records of all work done on company vehicle in a folder
11. Keep receipts of all fuel purchases and any other form of work done on the vehicle.
12. Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings using the designated log book.
13. Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management in a prompt manner.
14. Coordinate drop off of packages to other regions in a timely manner
15. Assist Clearing Officer with clearing process as and when needed
16. Follow traffic laws.
17. Plan routes using GPS system or other to maximize time and ensure prompt deliveries
18. Maintain a positive attitude with customers.

21. Maintain and keep driver license up to date.
22. Respond to all emails, phone calls, WhatsApp messages, in real time or within 15 minutes from when they are sent.
23. Engage members at the time of delivery to return to use our platform
24. Hand out flyers to members at the time of delivery
25. Request for pictures or reviews at the time of delivery and carry feedback back to Operations and management teams
26. Create tickets for all issues and track them until resolution
27. Ensure received packages from remote offices are delivered to clients intact and as received with no missing items
28. Ensure all company vehicle are parked at the office site every night. Exceptions must be approved by manager
29. Ensure no packages are delivered to members until full payment for shipping and/or duty is received.
30. Provide timely updates to members on delayed shipments

1. Ensure company phone WhatsApp number is used to broadcast company activities on a weekly basis

32. Ability to walk a user remotely over the phone through issues encountered with our platform (website and apps) or to walk a user remotely over the phone or in person on how to use our platform.
33. Able to market the company to include attending events to promote the company
34. Excellent customer service and able to professionally interact with customers in person and over the phone
35. Open to flexible work hours, to include periodic early morning starts/late nights and weekend work.
36. Flag suspicious activities and report to management for next steps
37. Work effectively to cut down on delivery window by hours and days

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

1. Experience in customer service
2. A commitment to excellent customer service.
3. Average written and excellent verbal communication skills.
4. Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
5. Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
6. Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
7. Able to work with little to no supervision
8. At least, JHS and SHS diploma.
