Overview

We are in search of a Medicines Counter Assistant(MCA) to provide an exceptional Outpatient Pharmacy counter service to all patients, identify customer needs and offer appropriate advice on over the counter medicines.
As a front line member of the team this role will ensure all customers are well received and dealt with appropriately.

What You Will Do

1. Assist customers with their questions, locating items or referring them to the pharmacist for
   medication information
2. Administrative duties will include answering telephones, booking out and filing sold item forms,
   pricing stock and ensuring the front counter of the pharmacy is kept clean and tidy with a
   professional image
3. Ensure appropriate inventory and stock control of medicines and maintain proper storage
   conditions of all over the counter medications in line with hospital policy and procedure
4. Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities against orders and inform supervisor of
   stock needs and shortages.
