Eko Maintenance Limited is a rapidly growing Facility Management Company that specializes in the maintenance of high-rise building facilities with offices located in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The HVAC technician will be skilled in cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems. You will guide and advise the customer to select the most appropriate air quality system to fulfill their requirements. You will be responsible for air quality systems from installation to end-of-life by performing maintenance, warranty and emergency repairs. Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technicians install, maintain and repair indoor air quality systems, such as air conditioners. This may include performing warranty services and emergency repairs. This may also include assisting with customers’ queries.

To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety and comfort should be your top priority. Ideal candidates will be patient, and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.

Job Functions /Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems
• Clean, adjust and repair systems, and perform warranty services
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements
• Assist with customers’ queries.

Job Qualifications/ Requirements

• Minimum of Trade Test in Electrical or its equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in HVAC maintenance.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
• Working knowledge of boiler systems.
• Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
