Overview

We are looking for punctual candidates with good time management skills for the position of driver. Drivers are responsible for delivering packages to clients in a timely manner, working on nights and weekends and ensuring that vehicles are always ready for use, among other duties.

Drivers will need to lift heavy objects and load them into their vehicles, requiring upper body strength and physical stamina. Drivers undertake various transporting duties and typically work for hotels, restaurants and delivery services. Their primary responsibilities include transporting clients from airports to hotels, carrying out vehicle maintenance checks and interacting with clients in professional conduct

Job Functions/ Tasks

•  Observing the road and traffic laws and regulation
•  Ensure that safe driving practices are adhered to including local driving codes and internally agreed standards.
•  Alcohol must not be consumed or present whilst on duty
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean, tidy and in good working condition at all times
•  Ensure vehicle is kept secure at all times
• Ensure vehicle is given regular/day-to-day maintenance checks: check oil, water, battery, brakes, etc.
• Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
• Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient gas and are always ready for use.
• Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.
• Updating monthly mileage records.
• Driving a variety of vehicles, including motorbikes, cars, buses and trucks

Requirement/ Qualification

•  Verifiable 4 year above professional experience
•  Valid driver’s license
•  Excellent knowledge of Lagos roads and safe alternate routes
•  Good knowledge and understanding of road signs and traffic rules (Compulsory)
• Ability to read and write
•  Must be married
•  Fluent in English.
•  Drivers should be available and ready to start immediately.
• Candidates should possess at least SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification
