An Engineering Construction company services in mechanical & electrical building, located in Lagos, is seeking an office assistant. The office assistant responsibility is to provide a good office working environment and all day-to-day requirements to ensure a good office environment to all staff.

Job Responsibilities/ Functions

• Handle basic inquiries, copying, scanning and filing documents.
•  Handle incoming calls and other communications.
•  Perform general office errands.
• Keep the office tidy at all times and observing professional etiquette.
•  Monitor offices supplies and informing the procurement manager in time for replenishment.
•  Welcome and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
•  Perform any other tasks, as directed.
• Recording information as needed.
• Greeting clients and visitors as needed.
• Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word processing.
• Helping organize and maintain office common areas
• Handling incoming calls and other communications
• Managing filing system.

Job Qualification / Requirement

•  Female between ages 20-25 preferably
•  Ability to write and speak clearly.
• The Academic qualification is the formal educational degree which is awarded by schools or boards
•  Secondary School Qualification may be required.
•  Experience as an office assistant or in a relative field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•  Ability to observe business etiquette and maintain a professional appearance.
•  Must reside close to the company’s location
