Overview

Seeking an experienced field sales representative to attract new clients, win new accounts, and maximize profitability within his or her sales territory. Candidates will work prospects through the entire sales cycle, including developing new leads, educating prospects, and turning interested shoppers into long-term customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present, promote and sell products to retail SMEs.
  • Establish, develop and maintain SME relationships.
  • Reach out to SME leads through in-person visits, cold calling, and more.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within a stipulated schedule
  • Keep a list of best practices and promotional trends
  • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and more
  • Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Participate in market storms, community fairs and cluster marketing events e.g. Trade Fairs
  • Implement best practices to meet customers’ needs and requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share internally
  • Understand customer financial needs and objectives
  • Proven work experience as a sales representative
  • Strong networking and relationship management skills
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce and retail-focused SMEs
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong Analytical Skills

Requirement/Qualification

  • Proven sales experience
  • BA/BS degree or HND equivalent
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
  • Computer use competency
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self motivated and driven
