Overview

A reputable media house based in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana seeks to employ a Accounts & Administrative Assistant to join their team;

What You Will Do

  • Maintaining financial records.
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable.
  • Checking invoices.
  • Resolving accounts to the general ledger.
  • Contacting clients about transactions and invoices.
  • Handling queries related to accounts.
  • Answering telephone calls, responding to queries, replying to emails, creating and amending documents.
  • Preparing expense reports and office budgets.
  • Managing office supplies and ordering new supplies as needed.
  • Systematically filing important company documents.
  • Forwarding all correspondence, such as letters and packages, to appropriate quarters.
  • Scheduling meetings and booking conference rooms.
  • Hiring maintenance vendors to repair or replace damaged office equipment.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

  • At least Diploma or HND in Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline
  • Proven experience working in Accounting, office and administrative management
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and relevant accounting software.
  • The ability to multitask.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
