A new company is looking to recruit a Marketing and Business Development Officer. Your job as a business development manager is to identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts. Communicating new product developments to prospective clients. Overseeing the development of marketing literature.
Duties:
Develop business and marketing plans in coordination with Managing Director to achieve revenue goals.
Assist in company’s branding and media communication activities such as press releases, advertisements, and web site.
Analyze the current and past budgets, expenses, sales, revenues and product deficiencies in order to provide recommendations for business growth and problem resolution.
Research the market for identifying new business opportunities.
Explain to prospective clients about the advantages of the products or services offered and follow up with them in order to close the business deals.
Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories.
Develop business proposals for new and existing customers.
Develop creative strategies to retain the clients including interviewing them to take their feedback and incorporate it into the growth plan.
Prepare the annual marketing budget and track the expenses against the budget.
Develop in-depth knowledge about business development practices, marketing activities, prospective clients and industry trends.
Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting
Develop strong customer relationships in order to generate high volume of prospective clients.
Supervise the client relationship management database and utilize it to manage customer contacts and mailing lists.
Train and guide other marketing and sales officers.
Qualification and Requirements
Minimum of a Degree and or with other professional qualification or higher is required.
Not less than 5 years of experience
Should reside in Greater Accra and its environs.
Should be able to drive and possess a valid driving license.

Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of a degree in Marketing or related field
At least 6 years’ Marketing experience in the Banking or Gaming Industry.
Knowledge of industry standard of leading a management team and being able to demonstrate key achievements
To assist in the recovery of all debt owed to Skytrust Money Lending, using court action where appropriate, but using a holistic approach to ensure that help and support is provided where possible so that eviction is a last resort.
Core responsibilities:
To manage recovery action on debts owed to Skytrust Money Lending in accordance with the systems, processes and guidelines issued by the Recoveries Manager and the pre-court protocol, updating and maintaining appropriate systems to ensure that all recovery measures are based on correctly held data.
To engage with customers using a variety of means to obtain information which can be used in the debt recovery process and to ensure that debtors are advised of their position and the procedures that will be followed to recover the debt. Some contacts may be outside normal working hours.
Engage with customers and reach a realistic and affordable repayment plan which is informed where possible by an accurate financial statement.
To advise the Recoveries Manager on issues affecting the debt recovery processes, both in general terms and on individual cases. Maintain an extensive knowledge of statutory requirements and recognized good practice in connection with accounting and recovery procedures including areas of political and environmental change that affect benefits and entitlements of customers.
