A company based in Nkoranza in the Bono East Region undertaking large scale multi crop farming is looking for an Experienced Operator for a Mahindra Tractor.

The applicant must be willing to learn new technologies about the profession through videos and courses.

What You Will Do

• As a tractor operator, your responsibilities will include driving tractors with attachments like Tiller, Rotary Cutter, Heavy duty pallet forks, Heavy duty backhoe, Trencher, Large Grapple, Disc Hollow, Box Blade etc, and using these farm implements to plow, plant, harvest, spray pesticides, and more.
• Operating the tractors safely and efficiently.
• Performing inspections of tractors and it’s attachments and ensuring they are well- lubricated before and after each day’s work.
• Completing minor repairs on tractor and farm equipment.
• Reporting any faults or concerns to the Farm Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
• Remaining alert while driving and servicing the tractor, and maintaining the appropriate speed limit at all times.
• You will report to the Farm Manager and should be comfortable working alone for long periods.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• To be successful as a Tractor Driver, you should have good concentration skills and excellent hand- eye cordination.
• We are looking for outstanding Tractor Drivers who are detail- oriented and demonstrate strength as well as active listening skills.
• Must be ready to learn how to operate a GPS System which would be attached to the tractor.
