Overview

The Rice and Sauce Chef is a professional cook whose job is to produce all assigned menu items in an efficient and consistent manner while following the specifications, recipes and techniques of the company.

What You Will Do

1. Prepare Rice / Sauce for service
2. Assure that each item is cooked to the Restaurant’s standard
3. Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, burners, ovens and refrigeration equipment both during and after service
4. Assumes responsibility for quality, food safety/sanitation and timeliness of products served

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• Senior High School Degree (optional)
• At least one-year professional culinary course (optional)
• Basic food handling and preparation knowledge
• Familiarity with health and safety kitchen rules and regulations
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Working experience as a Rice and Sauce Chef for 2 years
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
