Responsibilities

• Lead the project team
• Day to day management of work activities
• Manage and control resources assigned to the project
• Ensuring that works are executed to specified contract standards
• Manage sub-contractors assigned to the project
• Monitoring and reporting progress of works to head office
• Manage and use plant and equipment assigned to the project efficiently
• Represent the company at site meetings and reporting to relevant authority in the head office
• Liaise with consultants/ authorities for project related issues and reporting to management
• Lead in the processing of monthly valuations of work done
• Manage, control and set timelines as demanded by the project management plan
• Supervise project team, subcontractors and artisans and ensure that set targets are achieved.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• A minimum of first degree in civil engineering/building technology or related field with minimum of 10 years’ experience in the construction management
• Post graduate qualification would be an added advantage
• Excellent communications skills and must have a skill set for managing people.
• MS office and CAD software.
