A reputable institution is seeking to recruit a Legal Officer for its job vacancy in Accra.

Job Objective

• To provide effective and efficient legal support and advice to the Company

Job Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to both internal and external
• Review all legal cases and advise the Head, Legal and Company Secretary accordingly.
• Draw up legal documents for approval by the Legal Officer and Company Secretary.
• Ensure proper execution of contracts/Agreement by authorized signatories to avoid breach of contract.
• Research legal information
• Represent the institution at the court and other quasi-judicial and law enforcement agencies
• Liaise with external lawyers and consultants for the prosecution/defence of cases in court
• Ensure timely responses to statutory and regulatory
• Company secretarial work.

Qualification Required & Experience

Job Specifications

• Knowledge of Ghanaian Banking and Non-Banking Laws/ Regulations
• A University degree in Law (LLB).
• Qualifying certificate in Law
• One (1) to Three (3) years working experience as a Legal
