ASA Savings and Loans Ltd is looking for suitable qualified person for the position of Human Resource Officer. Currently, the company is serving over 150,000 clients across six regions in Ghana through 123 business units. ASA savings and Loans is a subsidiary of ASA International which is working in thirteen countries in Asia and Africa.

Job Summary

• The Human Resource Officer will be part of the Human Resource Management team and will report directly to the Human Resource Manager.
• The Human Resource Officer will provide professional advice and support to managers and staff for all HR related matters. Explain policies to staff, ensuring that the Human Resource Policy is fully implemented.
• Undertake specialist and general HR tasks as required and appropriate to the role.
• Ensuring that Human Resource Policies are fully implemented
• Deputize and act up for the Head of HR, as required.
• In addition, the Human Resource Officer will provide and communicate key human resources information to staffs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Effective and efficient management of employee records by building database on all HR relevant data and information as well as periodic update.
• Assists in the management of recruitment and selection activities.
• Assists in advising management and staff on a wide range of HR related matters.
• Assists in the management of the various HR projects as directed by the Human Resources Manager and any other duties that may be assigned.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Social Sciences and Psychology from a reputable university
• Must have a minimum of 2 years Industry experience
• Knowledge of the Labour Act 2003 (Act 651)
• Understanding of recruitment processes and systems
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively.
• Must not be more than thirty (30) years.
