Human Resource /Administrative Manager at A Construction Firm

Overview

A reputable construction firm in Ghana seek the services of various professionals in the construction industry as a Human Resource /Administrative Manager

What You Will Do

  • To plan, organize, and administer the activities of the head office efficiently
  • To establish and maintain an organizational climate that encourages the development, retention, and a high level of morale among personnel.
  • Administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems, and safety and recreation programs.
  • Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants
  • Perform staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes and administering disciplinary procedures.
  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems
  • Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates
  • Analyze training needs to design employee development, language training and health and safety programs
  • To perform any other duties assigned or delegated by management.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

  • A minimum of first degree administration/economics/social sciences or related field with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Experience in the construction industry is an added advantage
  • Excellent communication skills.
