A reputable construction firm is looking to hire a health & safety engineer to work with.

What You Will Do

1. Provide health and safety measures in a working environment.
2. Identify and evaluate the unsafe environment and practices.
3. Develop hazard control processes, methods and programs.
4. Recommend solutions to issues that need improvement
5. Advise several ways of controlling potential threats
6. Maintain and manage equipment and processes related to each project of health and safety.
7. Monitor implementation of safety plans according to plans and objectives.
8. Suggest several preventive methods and practices like recycling, waste disposal, pollution control, etc.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• HND or degree holder
• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in related field.
• Ability to research and apply the best industrial and working practices to provide effective services.
• Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong management and multitasking ability.
• Evaluate the probable physical and chemical hazards and take essential steps to minimize them.
