Maybert Engineering Company limited is into the sale, installation and servicing of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment. The company is seeking to employ a person within the ages of 35 years to 45 years to Head its Finance function.

Responsibilities:

  • To record transactions correctly in the necessary accounts.
  • Check and approve all requisitions from various departmental heads
  • Check and approve Pro forma invoices from suppliers and vendors.
  • Prepare sales invoices and Local purchase orders (LPOs)
  • Prepare monthly salaries and pay staff.
  • Negotiate price quotations with clients.
  • Prepare the finance aspects of Tender documents and coordinate the financial reports
  • Record all transactional accounts in the General ledger.
  • Prepare all cheques including VAT, SSNIT, PAYE.
  • Reconcile bank statements, suppliers and client accounts in real time.
  • To manager the assets and liabilities of the company for optimum returns.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow reports.
  • Prepare monthly management reports.
  • Manage follow ups and client trade account receivables.
  • To generate a Just – in –time stock policy.
  • Prepare annual financial statement for audits and finalize it.
  • Coordinate the budgeting process of the company.
  • To assist the MD and the management team formulate and implement strategy.
  • To appraise direct reports.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

  • Bsc. in Administration, Account option. A member of a certified accounting body.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in a Financial management position.
