Job Description

Provide leadership guidance and supervision to the finance and accounting function and have direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting and budgetary controls, investment appraisal, treasury and tax management, transaction analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnerships, compliance and institutional financing.

The role is a hands-on approach to working with the various business units with the goal of ensuring transparency and financial accountability across the entire organization.

The role is the gatekeeper of all historical financial information and it provides the platform on which key financial decisions are made, delivering prompt performance insights and capital forecasts to help us stay ahead of the competition.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the overall financial strategy to support the firm’s vision
• Lead the preparation and management of full set of periodic financial statements
• Lead fundraising efforts for Equity, Debt and Structured Finance across the company value chain
• Provide leadership for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives of the firm
• Transforming business development and business opportunities into financial transactions
• Ensure revenue maximization, cost reduction and margin improvement and management
• Establish, implement, and monitor financial controls
• Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
• Take hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive job cost system.
• Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance and Acounting functions (Fixed Asset Management, Treasury and Tax Optimization and Management, etc. ) of the organization.
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
• Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company
• Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
• Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

Qualification

• MBA/MSc Finance & Accounting or any related subject
• Chartered Member, ACCA/ICA
• At least 5 years of working experience in a similar role in the Oil & Gas industry
