A reputable financial institution located in Accra is looking for qualified persons to fill the following position: Deputy Head, Legal Department

Key Responsibilities

• Advising management on legal matters as well as shall be referred for advice by the Head of Legal Department or directly by management
• Assisting in the legal documentation of credit and other facilities extended to its customers
• Handling court matters and assisting external solicitors in the prosecution of cases on behalf of the institution
• Acting as Board Secretary to some of the subsidiaries of the company
• Managing the affairs of the Legal Department in the absence of the Head of Department

Qualification Required & Experience

Applicants must have

• LLB (Hons) or BA (Law) and should be on the roll of lawyers in Ghana
• Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience as a lawyer
• The ability to work with minimum supervision
• Computer literacy – applicants must be proficient in Microsoft office
