Overview

Overseeing and assessing customer service staff activities, and providing them with regular performance-related feedback. Strategizing and monitoring the daily activities of customer service operations. Assisting customer service staff with duties where required, Responsible for coordinating the human capital in the Site and ensure the movement of goods, whilst making sure that the right number of goods ordered is moved to the right locations and to the right persons at the scheduled time.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Ensure that the office spaces are in good condition to avoid goods getting damaged, as well as ensure that adequate security to ward off thieves and looters who may want to break into the offices.
• Ensure that before goods are shipped out of the office, they are first stored and secured in the office and that the necessary scans are done accordingly.
• Supervise activities of workers to ensure that they are hands-on to promote hard work which is needed for successful deliveries.
• Inspect goods to be delivered to ensure that they are in the right quantity and quality.
• Help in recruiting competent and hardworking workers to carry out daily operations.
• Prepare invoice for orders and deliveries as part of record keeping measures and evidence of transaction.
• Ensure that workers, particularly Riders adhere to safety standards.
• Assign different responsibilities to workers to fasten the job and promote specifications and accountability.
• Evaluate the expenses made on fuel to Riders and other cost and render full account to the Finance Department.
• Keep records of all shipping activities, documenting procedures, guidelines and changes in procedures for reference purposes.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• Minimum of first degree or HND
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills to resolve issues efficiently
• Strong computer skills particularly Microsoft office – Excel, Word, Powerpoint
