Eastland Micro-Credit is seeking to employ a Credit Officer.

Duties:

• Give permission to Loan Officers (Los) for group formation and registration of members
• Visit group members for verification purposes
• Issue passbooks, code number of the groups to LOs
• Ensure that the right loan proposals are made for clients, the right security deposit, cash collateral and Insurance are paid by the clients
• Refund and adjust cash collateral/security deposit
• Reject deficient group members and help LO fill up the deficiency
• Monitor by paying a visit to at least 5 members’ houses each day during group visit. Cross check registers to identify irregularities in security deposit & cash collateral (collection and withdrawal), loan disbursement, installment collections and insurance payment with passbooks. Sign on the master roll, cash collateral withdrawal register, passbooks and LO register after cross checking
• Responsible for SLO and LO duties in case of absenteeism or on leave
• Crosscheck all the passbooks with LO register twice (2) a year
• Ensure ample time is spent at group meetings
• Ensure a good customers relation between LO and members
• Observe whether the LOs give importance to the opinions of the members

Requirements:

• Proficient knowledge of applications including MS Office(Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
• Must reside in and around Madina, Ashaley Botwe, Adenta
• Must possess Driver license
• Minimum Qualification: Degree
