Key Responsibilities

• Source trending and newsworthy topics in Ghana and beyond with excellent news sensitivity.
• Dig and write a variety of catchy original articles for the app.
• Liaise with China’s News Production team to discover popular news content.
• Assist Operations Manager and editors with daily news censoring and testing.

Applicants Must:

• Have a basic sense of how the app systems work.
• Have the eyes for trending and interesting topics to write.
• Possess excellent editing skills and the ability to write quality and error-free articles.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Stay abreast with current and trending happenings in Ghana and worldwide.

Qualification and  Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree (Journalism/Mass Communication major preferred).
• One (1) year experience in content writing/editing, content operation and a very good knowledge of news items and websites.
• Able to perform well under tight KPI requirements and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure as part of a team or independently.
• Excellent computer skills
• Must be a quick learner with a good attitude to work
• Experienced content specialists or journalists will be prioritised.
