HPW fresh & dry Ltd. is the biggest fruit drying factory in West Africa. Our main product is mango and we process over 10’000 MT fresh mango per year. We buy the fruits from out-grower farmers, mainly in Ghana. Most of our out-growers are small holder farmers.

We are looking for an external expert in mango production to support our team of agronomists. The main objective is to improve the sustainability of the mango sourcing approach of the company and of the mango production systems of our out-growers.

The key roles of the consultant are:

• Analysis and evaluation of the mango production system and of the mango sourcing approach
• Recommandations to improve the production system and the sourcing approach
• Capacity building and training of agronomists and the extension team (ToT)
• Collaboration with a team of local agronomists

Profile:

• Practical experience in mango production
• Experience in the analysis of agricultural value-chains
• Experience in training of trainers (ToT) for effective knowledge transfer
• Experience in agricultural raw material sourcing is a plus
