Commercial and Sales Lead at A Reputable Media House

Overview

A reputable media house based in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana seeks to employ a Commercial and Sales Lead to join their team;

What You Will Do

  • Identifying, prioritizing, and closing new consumers in order to meet the business’s ad sales revenue and profit targets.
  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Develops, closes, and manages a pipeline of consumers and prospective consumers and expands these groups
  • Responsible for ensuring the attainment of new business by employing aggressive advertising techniques
  • Conducts analyses and evaluation of the existent advertising sales approaches and their effectiveness.
  • Successfully supervise and manage the sales team for optimum results.
  • Develop and manage partner and sponsor relationships including preparing promotional and sponsor presentations and materials.
  • Maintain Customer Service channels
  • Any other tasks and duties as may be assigned.

Experience and Knowledge

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, business development or commercial management.
  • Strong knowledge in a media, advertising, radio, television and events management landscape
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Social Science, or Business Administration and/ or related fields

Skills

  • Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office applications and cloud computing.
  • Experience in media and advertising sales
  • Professional level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with research methods and reporting techniques
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
