A reputable three-star hotel in Accra needs a chef de parte for immediate employment.

Role Purpose: Ensure the kitchen is fully functional, supervising and ensuring mise en place. Food menu planning and implementation

What You Will Do

1. Ensure complete cleanliness in the kitchen.
2. Strict compliance with HACPP and other industries standards.
3. Ensure mise en place.
4. To supervise junior chefs and cooks in the kitchen.
5. To estimate the daily production needs in the kitchen.
6. To check the quality of raw and cooked food.
7. To oversee the various sections in the kitchen be it pastry, butchery, hot kitchen, and so on.
8. Any other duties to be assigned.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• Minimum of 4 years experience in that same position.
• MVQ/SVQ level 2 or it’s equivalent.
• Level 14-19 hospitality and catering diploma.
• City and guilds diploma in professional cookery.
• Ability to work under pressure without supervision.
• Must be tolerant and not quick tempered.
