Overview

Tamale Technical University is seeking for applicant from suitably qualified candidates for appointments as Assistant Quality Assurance Officer. The main job purpose of the Assistant Quality Assurance Manager will be to help develop, manage and expand the quality management system on site. This will include effectively helping to manage the Quality Assurance team whilst ensuring production and quality standards are maintained. No matter what industry they work in, quality assurance assistants share a single goal: to ensure that all company procedures and products meet internal quality standards as well as external regulations. Quality assurance assistants work with other staff to make sure procedures and products adhere to established quality standards, maintain legal compliance, and satisfy customers. This position usually works in-office, but often involves moving around the business site, including to the manufacturing floor. These assistants typically report to the quality assurance manager and, depending on the size of the company, usually work on a team . Staff in this grade shall be required to show high qualities of sound judgment, initiative, resourcefulness, precision and professionalism in their area of specialization.

Complete Quality Assurance Audits

• Quality assurance assistants act as catalysts for change and improvement in performance and quality. They do so by establishing product specifications and quality attributes, measuring production, documenting evidence, and determining operational and performance qualification. Quality assurance assistants working in certain industries, such as healthcare or manufacturing, may need specialized industry knowledge to accomplish this.

Create Analytical Reports

• The quality assurance assistant extracts database information and manipulates data into clear reports for management, corporate executives, and clients as needed.

Maintain and Update Company Procedures and Policies

• Each business has its own set of internal procedures and quality standards, which are laid out in policy and procedural manuals that all employees can refer to. The quality assurance assistant maintains this knowledge base to keep it up to date and comprehensive. This can involve communicating with team members not on the quality assurance team and reformatting their day-to-day duties into clear, concise company policy articles.
•  The Assistant Quality Assurance Officer shall assist the Quality Assurance Officer in the overall administration and management of the office and in the discharge of its functions as provided for in the Guiding Statutes of the University.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Applicants must hold a minimum of Masters’ Degree in a relevant field. A relevant Professional qualification would be an added advantage
